in the bda update folder are only added roms/sets -> that means they could be not complete (and missing parts are already in other sets! You have to rebuild it yourself with your existing folder/roms .....using a ROMManager will helps you.
and searching for this missing "name" hb-00.11p (do a "mame64.exe -listxml >gamelist.xml" and search in this XML-file for the missing rom) <rom name="hb-00.11p" size="512" crc="b7a7baad" sha1="39781c3412493b985d3616ac31142fc00bbcddf4" region="proms" offset="0"/>

@Master_O, Re: sc01a.bin. I'm going to have to refer you to the first post of this thread: Don't search/post here for stuff that is already added to 0.181 official build or earlier! sc01a.bin is in a set that was updated in 0.181 (votrax), not a newly updated set in 0.182.
There is no need for anyone to "include" it, as you will find that it is already posted in the BDA in this folder: http://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/update-packs/mame-0181/
You could have found it yourself if you searched the MAME generated .xml for it's crc (fc416227), instead of claiming it was part of Q-bert. Q-bert uses the votrax as a device, and the device votrax has a ROM in it, the sc01a.bin. There are several other games that use the votrax as a device as well. It may seem overly complicated, but that's the way MAMEdev has organized things.

Hello everyone! i just want to ask, where can i find the chd updates from the 0.61 to the 0.175, here i see it from the 0.176 version but i can not go more back in time, there is a chance to get it?, i have the 0.161 chd rom set and i want to upde it to the 0.181.

You would be better off starting a new thread. It would help if you had specific requests and not just "all of 'em that you are missing". If you can't find the specific CHDs in this part of the BDA : http://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/CHDs/ , you may not be able to find them here at all. Just because you don't seem to be able to find any updates between 0.161 and 0.175 doesn't mean there are any to find in the first place. Some revision numbers don't have any CHD updates. What you really need is a list of CHDs that you are missing or do not have the correct sha-1 (when comparing to v0.181) You can also collect what is present in the 0.176 to 0.181 BDA folders. That will make your list shorter. It is not necessary to collect the CHD updates in order. |

TIA That's not a real new ROM, it's a rename and has the same hash info as aa003.bin, but aa008.bin has baddump status. It's probably being rejected as a duplicate in most ROM managers. Perhaps this will require another small update to clrmamepro? As you can see it seems to be some kind of placeholder ROM for the 2nd MCU. Usually when there are multiple MCUs in a game, there are separate (non-identical) ROMs for each one. I don't know of any other games where there are identical ROMs on different MCUs, but I haven't looked for them. I don't know what clrmamepro's proper behavior is in such a case.

Aztarac seems to be missing the following files for v0.182: l5.l5 (CRC32 317fb438 / 32bytes ) (those are lower case 'L's BTW) k8.k8 (CRC32 596ad8d9 / 4Kb) k9.k9 (CRC32 b8544823 / 4Kb)
...and the Hyper Neo Geo 64 Bios now seems to require the following: tmp87ph40an,bin (CRC32 b70df21f / 32Kb )
(p.s. since 0.181 Spyhunter, Turbo Tag (prototype) & Zwackery all seem to be missing 0304-00803-0052.u15 (CRC32 8b401aee / 74 bytes) to run on my machine. Seems like its for the speech engine which I thought was included in a driver ( this one to be precise ) in the new builds of Mame but for some reason it's still expecting it to run .. does this file exist anywhere ?! ) |

I am updating RR to MAME 0.182 full version. Please note that I am using now the offical MAMEdev exe for 0.182 update -> some of you knows it (updates), not added files have been removed and added to the 0.183 sooner folder ;-) |

I too had this exact same problem. My 181 was a complete set but once gone over with clrmame pro latest 182 has all the same missing. :(

Hi all, a quick question. I run the CLRMAME PRO and it found no missing ROMs for 0.182, but when I do the audit in Mame64UI, it says that I'm missing the following: fccpu20: Romset NOT FOUND Why is this happening...? Thanks in advance! |
