Can't play SegaSonic on FBNeo (RetroArch core)

So, as you saw on the title, for some reason I can't play SegaSonic the Hedgehog (final version) on the FBNeo RetroArch core. I've tried multiple sources, and it used to work, but now it just crashes RetroArch. I'm on Android btw. Am I the only one with this problem? What's the solution?

sonic.zip4.9M10 downloads

Did you install RetroArch from the google play store? if you did uninstall it and look for the APK on RetroArch website and retry....
https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.16.0/android/RetroArch_ra32.apk do not use the 64 version it has some weird error no showing the SDcard.

No, I downloaded the APK from the official site, aka here: https://retroarch.com/?page=platforms

Edit: I'm using the 64 version and I have no problem with the SD card memory because all of my roms are in the Downloads folder. Thanks for the suggestion tho laughing

Is loading here just fine.....from my RetroArch 32 bit APK from the website

Welp, so anything I could try to fix this problem without changing the RetroArch version?

Try to delete the FBNeo core and re install it, maybe that could fix the issue..
or manually downloaded from here:

Nope, didn't work, sadly. And I can't install the core manually because I don't have root access. Guess I'll just stay without playing SegaSonic till I get another reliable device to emulate it on.

Well, it turns out that the problem was a savestate from Sonic Pocket Adventure which for some reason is also called sonic (like the SegaSonic arcade game). It wasn't a ROM or emulator problem. It was just a savestate.
