Regarding NES: Rainbow Brite - Journey to Rainbow Land (HB)

There is a file of the correct size, but wrong CRC, in Gr8FamNESUpd8 on archive.org.

Not sure if it is just a header issue, or other, but could not work it out.

either i am too dumb or am i the only one who tests a rom before posting?

i found the rainbrite rom yesterday, it had wrong crc, so i changed the ines header structure

until i had the correct crc but when i started the rom it says:

then i checked my compiles, vs and gcc, x86 and x64, release and debug - always the same error

other emus showed similar errors when starting the rom!

wtf is this? after 5 to 6 hours testing i was fed up!

is there someone who can enlighten me? what i did wrong?

same here, not working . not loading with Bizhawk but Mesen was loading fine.

The Rainbow Brite - Journey to Rainbow Land (HB) header matches with NewRisingSun nes20db ( https://forums.nesdev.org/viewtopic.php?t=19940 ) , maybe FBNeo doesn't support the mapper 268 yet, idk...

obiously the mapper support is lacking in fbneo

thanks igor, dkong3 is on my server, it was updated from what is listed in the generated dat.

It doesn't match the latests dats

furthermore it crashes!

the rom quality of the last few days leaves much to be desired...

 I think the dat used v1.0 of the rom, whereas the latest is v1.1 from je7ebel.

with the corrected data for the new version it does NOT crash any more...

for those who cant wait, change in d_spectrum.cpp line 33212

 The correct rom is the one match the crc

It's not your standard version of "Mega Turrican", but a hack called "Director's Cut". The patch is likely available at Romhacking.net

 Yeah, but a working rom is available so still not sure why the crc doesn't match.
