Flycast Dat

Hello,

Can someone please share RomVault Dat for Flycast (Arcade side of the emulator) if one exist please?

FYI I manged to find workaround, in Clrmame you can rebuild sets based on systems/bios, so I used that to extract Naomi 1/2 , Sega SP and Atomiswave sets

Flycast is based on the current MAME romset. You can make the lists on-line. 

In the Arcade Database, go to the “Games” section.   

Select “Additional Filters” and in the “Driver” tab type “Atomiswave”.  

It will be listed, when selected it will be shown as “awbios;”   

“Search” button all are shown, to have only Parent, the Show clones option is deactivated.   

Export the list is in the “Options” button, there are several options, select the one that suits you best. 

The bios you need to create the lists per system...

Atomiswave: awbios

Naomi 1: naomi, hod2bios, f355dlx, f355bios, airlbios

Naomi 2: naomi2

You can select all of them to make a single Arcade Flycast list.

for naomi list 1, you also need "naomigd", although the bios is not necessary to emulate.

What worked for me best to create these subsets from MAME dats is using the source file filter in clrmamepro:

%s = *naomi*

This condition includes everything in the resulting dat, including all bios files. I did this for all the "3D" sega platforms to get a nice archive of only those (atomiswave, hikaru, model 1, 2, 3, naomi, stv).
