HBMAME 0.245.13 ROMs sooner

I have created a web folder for the updates

https://bda.retroroms.info:82/downloads/hbmame/update-packs/hbmame-0245_13/

https://mega.nz/folder/aIUB1SAa#NbnPC70HTj7tY-o6DnuihA

Don't search/post here for stuff that is already added to 0.245.12 or earlier!

where can i download the roms datfile no merged??

As this is a "preview" I don't think that the dat-file is available somewhwere to download. When you have the exe you can create a dat-file yourself:

"hbmameui.exe -listxml >dat-file.xml"

Does HBMAME follow monthly updates like MAME or is it completely random?

I see ssf2tnl in the update folder and I'm excited to giving it a try!!!

Why not check on their website ?

Why not check on their website ?

I checked out the website (plus all the links) and now I have a new question. Is HBMAME dead?! If not it sure looks like it's reaching its end.cry

It is updated (last update 2023.08.04)

But there aren't any updates to the MAME core. HBMAME is still based on MAME 0.245. It just adds new hack roms (in my opinion that's the purpose of the emulator).

OOOOF.  Robert just released a version a recently and if you read up on his release schedule, he releases it on his own schedule as time permits and when there's a reason to release it.  If there aren't any new hacks to add and there aren't any significant bugs to fix, why would he release an updated HBMAME?

Download the latest and enjoy.  If you are aware of hacks that haven't been added to HBMAME yet, let him know and provide the details and there's a chance he may add them.  I've submitted a few recently and I believe he's added most of them.

Hi, I attach some hacks/Roms not in Mame or HBMame. These roms were emulated by an old emulator (2013) compiled by Cristopher Kimse (I think called "K_Zero"). The attached roms are only those different from the standard ones. All the necessary roms and a very brief description of the set are listed in the attached dat file. PS: I insert them in this forum because I don't know to whom send them by HBMame. Bye

Is there anything special about these sets?

The little information relating to these sets is reported in the description

of the dat file inserted in the folder.

I'm currently finding more (but they're still a work in progress)

and if you're interested, you can find them here:
