King of Fighters 96

Question is any one else having this issue with KOF96. I'm getting this fatal error when I try starting this game. I have these files in the set as well.

I tried the kof96 romset from the BDA; it isn't broken.

Is your set in the correct MAME roms folder?

Check that you have the right version for the MAME version you are using. Our roms for MAME are for latest 0.262 release.

Thanks for the suggestions but I found the problem it was a corrupted config settings file that was outside of the cfg folder. I deleted it and the game went back to working...STRANGE.
